The Sick Care System takes aim at the American healthcare industry through the eyes of someone trapped inside it—facing staggering medical costs, expensive prescriptions, insurance barriers and a system the song argues has become financially dependent on people remaining patients.
Built around the distinction between healthcare and “sick care,” the song questions what happens when the institutions responsible for helping people get better also profit from treatment, medication and repeat customers. Beneath the anger is a simple frustration repeated throughout the song:
I just wanna get better.
The artwork captures that contradiction through the image of a hospital patient confined inside a prescription bottle, surrounded by scattered pills and clinical imagery—a visual metaphor for feeling trapped inside a healthcare system where medicine, money and survival have become inseparable.
