Clock in. Clock out. Still behind.
Bring the stark imagery of D’Money’s “Working Poor” to your wall with this framed edition of the official single artwork.
Working Poor tells the story of people doing everything they were told they were supposed to do—showing up, putting in the hours, working overtime, producing value—and discovering that simply having a job no longer guarantees the ability to build a life.
Through rising rent, stagnant wages, healthcare tied to employment and paychecks already spent before they arrive, the song confronts the contradiction of working harder while falling further behind. It challenges the idea that financial struggle is simply the result of not working hard enough when millions of people are already giving more of their time just to cover the cost of surviving.
The artwork captures that exhaustion through a lone worker walking beneath an elevated city skyline, lunchbox in hand, while dollar bills drift downward around him—a visual divide between the wealth being built above and the worker struggling below.
Presented in a square format inspired by classic framed album covers, “Working Poor” transforms D’Money’s working-class anthem into a piece of statement art for anyone who knows what it's like to give more, work more—and still be told it isn't enough.
Available in 12×12, 16×16 and 18×18 inches.
