What Did You Get is built around a blunt question aimed at political promises, public spending, elite privilege, and the widening gap between those at the top and everyone else. The song contrasts cracked pavement, rising costs, debt, defense spending, family influence, crypto wealth, and political spectacle with the everyday reality of workers and the middle class.
And every time the song asks what ordinary people actually got in return, the answer is the same:
Jackshit.
The artwork captures that frustration through a raw protest-collage aesthetic—chain-link fencing, a burning ballot, empty pockets, distressed typography, and the D$ emblem looming over the question itself. It feels less like a polished campaign poster and more like something ripped from a wall after the promises wore off.
